The Abbey Church of Saint-Ferréol

The abbey church of Saint-Ferréol in Essômes sur Marne is a monument of very pure Gothic style with grandiose proportions: the height under the vault is 22m, the width of the transept is 30m and from the apse to the two remaining bays of the nave, the length is 40m.

Take a close look at the 38 choir stalls carved in the 16th century (Renaissance style) depicting symbolic subjects and scenes from secular life.
