Belleau Cemetery

The Belleau American Cemetery pays tribute to the many American soldiers, including those of the Marine Corps, who fell during the Second Battle of the Marne, particularly the Battle of Belleau Wood. You will be struck by the serenity of this necropolis, which contains 2,289 headstones. Memorial Day is held on the last Sunday of May. This ceremony honors them and offers an opportunity to admire French and American soldiers in full dress uniform.
